On vinyl I think my first grab was Palm Mall Mars by 猫 シ Corp or 200% Electronica by George Clanton. In all honesty I don't quite remember. Might have been a cassette of one of my own releases but I don't count that.
When it comes to parties I lean heavy into synthwave, most of the time going with Timecop1983. Usually something from Reflections.
Actually the last album I listened to fully was Taylor Swift's Midnight. It's a vibe, and it feels weird to say that because I generally don't care for pop but seeing as people like The Weeknd are going for that 80s aesthetic, I'm all here for it baby!
Aw geez, that's kind of a hard one. There's a lot of songs that make me happy, ranging from prog metal to dream pop, rap to vaporwave or synthwave. Octavarium by Dream Theater always gets me going, as well as The Midnight's Endless Summer. Forever Free by Alphaville does something to me though not gonna lie. Makes me nostalgic for a time I didn't exist in.
Now that's a question I struggle to answer. There are so many great albums out there. And the thing about Second∞Sight is that I don't really have a definitive style. I jump from classic vapor to mallsoft, slushwave to broken transmission. Recently I've been experimenting with genres outside of vaporwave like folk, shoegaze, dreampop and even a little prog rock/metal. But to answer the question I'd probably go with Dan Mason's Void in a Second∞Sight slushwave style.
An album I'll listen to forever and ever till the day I die? Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by Dream Theater. Both the album as well as the 8-part, 42-minute track that takes up the 2nd disc. I grew up playing drums and that was one of the songs I wanted to learn most.
I don't know if it is a shock but I like most genres of music, except country mainly... but maybe an album I enjoy that some might not expect is Drake's Nothing Was The Same.
